These doors were made in 1943 the only year the doors were made out of zinc alloy as brass and copper were being used for the war effort. They come with a 1943 silver half dollar and banks come with your choice of insignias for each branch of the military.  Combo cards are on the bottom. The medium banks also have a challenge coin and some small banks now have a challenge coin also.  Large banks have at least 1 challenge coin and silver half dollar with other engraving. Combo cards on bottom. Comes in light and dark stains. Recovered doors from Silverton Colorado, that had been in a fire. We cleaned doors to what you see today.  Just acquired several small doors from Minneapolis Minnesota. Personalization can be engraved on lids and can use your own Challenge coins if preferred.
